Fresh Cut Herbs Available For Retail Customers

We are pleased to announce that freshcut, as well as potted herbs will be offered to our retail customers this year. Our freshcut herbs are grown in raised outdoor beds in a mixture of peat moss, compost and topsoil and irrigated by soaker hoses. Insects are controlledi by a combination of Neem oil and peppermint soap sprays, as well as the periodic use of floating row covers. Herb orders are cut by hand and packaged early in the morning of the shipping day, and will be shipped out at 1000 a.m. by overnight express mail. Customers living in or near metropolitan areas nationwide should receive their delivery one day after shipping. Those living in rural areas may have to wait two days for delivery, even with overnight express service. All cut herbs are sold by the one ounce bunch, shipped in individual plastic containers and packed 8 to a box with refrigeration packs to keep them cool. We will begin shipping cut herb orders on 1 April, and will update our freshcut herb price list on a weekly basis.
