Different Varieties of Garlic Planted For 2006

At customer request, we have now begun to grow different types of organically raised garlic.

This fall we planted three different types of garlic in raised beds. They are Elephant Garlic, a large, mild variety, Spanish Rojo, a small, pink and extremely hot variety, and German White, a medium size white variety with a strong (though not overpowering) flavor.

We should have freshly dug bunches of these garlics available for sale beginning next summer (2006).
