Now Accepting Special Requests For Next Year

In the course of the past season, a number of our customers mentioned special items they would like us to grow next year, such as Spanish lavender. If you have a special request, please let us know by the end of December, so that we can obtain the necessary seed.

For those who wonder what we do in the off season, the following is provided.

At present we are in the process of "putting the garden to bed" for the winter. This entails weeding, tilling topsoil and manure into all the growing beds, digging in the perennials to overwinter for next season, and mulching with straw. In December we will be cleaning out and repairing the greenhouses, expanding the walkways, extending the shelter for the delivery vans, digging a pond and installing an irrigation system, and of course, placing our seed orders for next season.
