Customized Herbal Bouquets Now Available at Farmer's Markets

We finally have enough blooming flowers in the cutting beds available to begin sending scented herbal bouquets to our various farmer's markets. The cool spring weather and dry conditions over the past two weeks have combined to delay the shasta daisies, zinnias and golden yarrow blooms we use early in the season. However, assiduous irrigation and warmer weather have finally made our cutting beds bloom.

We can customize herbal bouquets for farm market customers by fragrance, color or size. Applemint, spearmint, peppermint, anise hyssop, lemon mint and pineapple mint scented bouquets are currently available. We have a good supply of shasta daisies (white with yellow center) and multicolored zinnias currently available. Asiatic lilies (pink and yellow) should be in bloom in two weeks. Depending on size, special order herbal bouquets generally cost between $5.00 and $10.00.

As several florists have expressed interest in purchasing our herbal bouquets, we cannot guarantee availability other than on a weekly basis.
